HIFEM energy creates electrical currents, or "pulses," that are passed to the muscles. When these pulses are fast enough, they force the muscles to engage and contract, just like they would during strenuous exercise.

Step 3: Radiofrequency

Radiofrequency uses heat in 2 ways, depending on your treatment area: it either permanently destroys fat cells or warms up the muscle, making the HIFEM energy even more effective in areas like the biceps and glutes.

Before Your Treatment

Drink lots of water before your treatment, just like you would before a workout.

HIFEM energy uses a magnetic force to stimulate muscles, so you cannot have this treatment if you have any metal in your body, such as pacemakers and copper IUDs.
Please also remove jewelry prior to your Emsculpt® treatment.

Come to the appointment in loose, cotton clothing, as we will need uninhibited access to the treatment area.

After Your Treatment

Be sure to drink plenty of water after your treatment.

Do not apply or expose the area to extreme heat or cold for 24 hours afterwards.

Avoid working out for 24 hours after your treatment.

Stretching and consuming an adequate amount of protein may help improve your results.

You should start to see results within 2-4 weeks following the fully recommended treatment, and they'll keep improving for up to 3 months.
