How Plasma Hair Restoration Works for Your Unique Needs

Beginning to experience hair loss or hair thinning? Here's how Plasma Hair Restoration works for your goals.

Haircare & Growth

Platelets, injected into the scalp, work to stimulate cells that play a critical role in hair growth.

Ideal For:
  • Hair Care & Growth
Does Not Treat:
  • Scalp Dryness
  • Scalp Itchiness
  • Scalp Hydration
  • Haircare & Growth

Platelets, injected into the scalp, work to stimulate cells that play a critical role in hair growth.

How It Works
Step 1: Consultation & Blood Drawing

Your treatment begins with a consultation. Then, your provider will draw your blood.

Step 2: Platelet-Rich Plasma Creation

The blood is spun in a centrifuge, a device that separates concentrations of platelets within the plasma from other elements of the blood—making it ready for your injections.

Step 3: Plasma Injections

Your provider will proceed to artfully inject plasma into the scalp to stimulate the growth of new hair.

Plasma Hair Restoration at A Glance

Before Your Treatment
Wash your hair the day of your appointment and refrain from using styling products.
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment, as it can make the skin more susceptible to bruising.
  • Avoid aspirin and NSAIDs (Advil, Motrin, and Aleve) for 3 days before your treatment, as they may increase the likelihood of bruising.

Consider taking arnica, bromelain, or Tylenol to help alleviate post-treatment swelling and bruising.

After Your Treatment

Refrain from washing your hair for 6 hours after treatment.

Avoid all other hair products (dyes, gels, etc.) for at least 3 days.

Avoid direct sunlight until healed and wear a clean, non-sweaty hat or covering when outside for 48 hours after treatment.

Avoid lying down for 4 hours after treatment to help prevent swelling

Results

You’ll start to see a sprout of new baby hairs, or notice increased volume, a few months after your first treatment. The results continue to grow from there! At the 6 month mark, you’ll notice a renewed fullness and length.

Frequency

If it’s your first time, we recommend getting this treatment monthly, for 3 months. After that, come in annually to maintain results.

Please adhere to these pre-treatment instructions to avoid contraindications.
Otherwise, for your safety, we will be unable to perform this treatment.
